AK Dragon is an absolute standout. The beef rendang was unbelievably tender and rich, easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The homemade curry puffs with satay sauce were crisp, flavour-packed, and downright addictive. What made the experience even better was the chef personally coming to our table—warm, genuine, and passionate about his craft. Hearing him talk about how he builds flavours added a special touch to an already fantastic meal. A must‑visit spot in Huskisson. Highly recommended.

Quite nice Malaysian restaurant. Simple, not expensive, but very delicious and authentic. Fresh oysters with special Malaysian spicy sauce, laksa, money bags (fried dumplings with chicken - daughter loved those), tiger prawns, Malaysian slow cooked beef - all were very yummy.

We had the best lunch in Huskisson at AK Dragon! They have seafod selection with Malaysian flavours. This time we had sotong (squid) and beef rendang! The rendang is made of Wagyu Beef, so tender and full of flavour cooker for 12 hours, you can adjust the spiciness to your liking. The portion is so generous Definitely if you are looking for a flavour bomb, go to AK dragon. Dont forget to ask for their Malaysian sambal

The food was authentic and tasty. Alex the owner was very friendly and gave excellent service. We are lucky to have found this little gem of a restaurant. Would come back again

Beyond delicious. Restaurant was super busy (still barely a wait on the food) and the chef personally came to our table to apologise and ask us how we enjoyed the food. It was my first time trying Nasi Lemak and it blew me away - so flavourful and the chef did an amazing job with the texture and portioning. Literally one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The pork was perfect - crispy skin, buttery fat and tender flavourful meat. The sauce was delicious. I was really truly impressed and am so sad that I’m not a local - I’d eat here all the time if I was.

Dropped by this Malaysian restaurant while travelling around and honestly, what a great find! The chef’s got amazing skills,the food was packed with authentic flavours and really well balanced. You can taste the love and effort in every dish. Portions were generous too, which is always a plus! Left super happy and satisfied — definitely one of the best meals I’ve had this trip. Highly recommend!

Real gem - lovely atmosphere and staff, great food. We had a punchy beef rendang with awesome flavours and a fall-off-the-bone lamb shank with a Malaysian twist. The roti was delicious and flaky, and a local beer or two really topped everything off. All round great restaurant and experience.
